New Experience

You know? Today I met Sofia she's AFS USA student exchange from Argentina, South America. She had finished her school. She's 18 years old. And I'm only 16. OMG. Hahaha
She lived in my senior's house in Sunu Street. She stay here for one year. YOU KNOW WHAT? She's from Rosario. It's Messi's Hometown!!!
She said that Messi sometimes had a dinner in one of restaurant in Rosario. Sofia just so lucky.

She also knew Maradonna. Really Sofia?! Of course! He's a legend! And she said that Maradonna in Makassar right now. Doing some speech football. Oh My God It's great.

She likes Nasi Goreng, and Yellow rice (actually it's Nasi Kuning). She's vegetarian but in Makassar she ate Fish. Hahahaha.
She likes playing Volleyball in Argentina. She plays in beach just when summer set in.

She speaks Spanish. Seriously I love Spain especially dthe Football. And you know? She tought me some of them like My Name is Nia, means Me llamo Nia, Soy Makassar, de Indonesia. Am I right? hahaha
She's really kind. And i thought her My birthday in Indonesia means Ulang tahunku because she didnt know it.

I loved when she said people in Makassar just so nice and friendly. Almost everyone said to her "Can I help you?" Yeah I think it's good.

In Argentina there's no test if you want to be an exchange student. I'm ashtonished actually. In Makassar, if you wanna be an Exchange student, you have to pass the test.
It's so unfair, right?
I told her that i've tested for Exchange Student fo AFS program, but i'm not passed it. (it was embarrassing) hahaha. It's so difficult if you want to be an
Exchange student in here. You must have more ability and yeah you know.

It's really fun with Sofia. I told ya she's sooo nice to me! hahah I loved her body. When I grew up, i wanna be her. Although our difference age just 2 years.

Winner of Season 1 of Top Chef: Just Desserts : YIGIT PURA

Yigit was the fan favorite and Top Chef winner of Season 1 of Top Chef: Just Desserts.

Yigit (pronounced Yeet) began his culinary training in the pastry arts at the age of four in Ankara, Turkey. One of his fondest memories is of his mother making him a big spoonful of dark caramel. His first job in the United States was in the pastry kitchen at The Meetinghouse, a three-star San Francisco restaurant, where he worked for two years under chef and mentor Joanna Karlinsky. From The Meetinghouse he went on to work in several other pastry kitchens in San Francisco including Postrio and Gary Danko.
Yigit moved to New York City in the Fall of 2003 where he held increasingly responsible positions at the famed Le Cirque 2000 and the five-star, five-diamond Four Season Hotel, both under Executive Pastry Chef Luis Robledo-Richards. He went on to work at the world famous Restaurant Daniel, as Pastry Sous Chef, and at Daniel Boulud in Las Vegas as Executive Pastry Chef, both under chef/owner Daniel Boulud. Yigit joined Taste Catering & Event Planning as Executive Pastry Chef in the Spring of 2007.
Yigit was crowned the winner and fan favorite on the premiere season of BRAVO’s “Top Chef Just Desserts” – a spin-off of the popular Emmy-nominated and James Beard Award-winning “Top Chef.” Since winning, Yigit has been featured in Food & Wine magazine, People magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Time Out Istanbul, OUT magazine, as well as in numerous national and international newspapers, magazines, websites and blogs.

LONDON : Angel

Novel karya Windry Ramadhina ini menceritakan seorang lelaki bernama Gilang, yang merupakan penulis novel roman disalah satu perusahaan di Jakarta.
Gilang mempunyai sahabat seorang wanita bernama Ning, pecinta seni rupa. Mereka bersahabat sudah puluhan tahun. Dan Gilang baru menyadari satu hal bahwa sudah 6 tahun terakhir ia mencintai Ning yang kini sudah 4 tahun tinggal di Inggris, tepatnya di kota London demi meraih cita-citanya, sekolah dan bekerja di salah satu perusahaan berbau seni-seni rupa.
2 bulan kemudian tiba saatnya Gilang harus berangkat ke London. Gilang akan mengejar cintanya yang selama ini ia pendam. dan segalanya telah ia persiapkan; penginapan di London, alamat rumah penginapan Ning, beberapa uang pounsterling, serta tiket pesawat pulang-pergi.
Setiba di London, Gilang langsung menyusul ke rumah kost gadisnya tersebut, namun hasilnya nihil, gadis itu telah tidak pulang selama tiga hari berdasarkan kesaksian tetangganya. Akhirnya ia memutuskan untuk jalan-jalan sebentar di sekitar kota London. Di Southbank, seorang gadis muncul disampingnya, menawari Gilang berbagi payung merah saat hujan turun dan mengajaknya melihat seluruh kota London melalui naik London Eye, kincir raksasa kebanggaan London.
Goldilocks, itulah sebutan Gilang untuk gadis misterius yang ia temui di Southbank dan menawarkan berbagi payung bersama saat hujan. Ia adalah gadis misterius sebab gadis itu selalu muncul secara tiba-tiba saat hujan turun dan menghilang secepat kilat tanpa jejak saat hujan berhenti.
Selain Goldilocks, ia juga bertemu Ayu gadis asal Jakarta yang sedang berlibur di London. Mereka bertemu saat Gilang mencari peta Kota London di toko buku dekat penginapannya. Ayu adalah gadis yang senang mencari buku langka seperti Gilang. Tapi pertemuan ini tidak akan menjadi satu-satunya pertemuan mereka.

Apakah Gilang dapat bertemu dengan Ning untuk menyatakan cintanya? Atau ia justru terjebak dalam permainan Goldilocks yang dapat muncul tiba-tiba saat hujan dan menghilang secepat kilat saat hujan reda? Atau perjalanan Gilang ke London hanya sia-sia saja? Yang mana bede? hahahha

Makanya saya rekomendasikan untuk kalian yang baca ini blog supaya baca novel London : Angel, oh iya kalo beli buku ini ada bonusnya dapat postcard LONDON! Keren skali nah! Tapi hilangmi saya pembatas buku ku hahahhaha (cepa'nyaa hilang-_-).
Dari ini novel saya belajar kalau kita harus rela melihat orang yang kita cintai itu bahagia karena setiap orang punya keajaiban cintanya sendiri. Harus tertarik baaca!

Narasumber : "Yang saya ketahui masyarakat terutama generasi muda lebih berminat pada buku cerita."
Saya              : "Mengapa buku cerita menjadi penarik minat pertama para pembaca?"
Narasumber : "Karena mungkin berhubungan dengan orientasi pendidikan sekarang yang dirasa membosankan. Jadi pendidikan saat ini seharusnya tidak sekedar mencari pengetahuan semata, namun juga yang meningkatkan minat baca."
Saya              : "Siapakah yang seharusnya bertanggung jawab untuk mengubah minat baca dari buku cerita ke buku pengetahuan?"
