Connor Jessup

Connor William Jessup was born in Toronto, Canada, June 23th 1994. An actor since the age of eleven, he is best known for his role as Ben Mason in TNTs post-apocalyptic sci-fi series Falling Skies (2011). Other notable roles include an early stint on the Discovery Kids series The Saddle Club (2001) and an acclaimed lead performance in the gritty indie Blackbird (2012).
Jessup is also active behind the camera, having written and directed several shorts and acted as executive
producer on the micro-budget film Amy George (2011).

Jason Kennedy (born December 11, 1981) is a correspondent at E! Networks, where he covers national celebrity news. In 2012, Kennedy was named co-anchor of "E! News Weekend" and host of the E! Online web series, "Live from E!"
Born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Kennedy grew up near that city, where his love for television news became apparent, even in his pre-teen years, when he spent countless hours chasing local news trucks and taking taxis to breaking news scenes for a mock-news show he produced and reported, from a studio he created in his own home. The studio was outfitted with 20 televisions, four cameras, a news desk and an editing station. Kennedy went on to attend the University of Miami, where he received several awards, including the Associated Press Award for Best News Feature in the state of Florida.

Paul Walker Dead at 40

Actor Paul Walker, best known for his roles in the "Fast & Furious" action films, died from "combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries" in a car accident, the Los Angeles County coroner said on Wednesday.
Walker, 40, was a passenger in a fiery one-car crash on Saturday in Santa Clarita, California, about 30 miles northwest of Los Angeles. The driver of the Porsche Carrera GT, Roger Rodas, died of multiple traumatic injuries, the coroner said.
As a result of Walker's death, Universal Pictures has put filming "Fast & Furious 7" on hold for an unspecified period. The film was slated to be released on July 11, 2014.
Walker became a symbol of street-racing and car culture in his roles in the "Fast & Furious" series, which has grossed more than $2 billion at the global box office since its debut in 2001.

Nelson Mandela Dead at 95

Former South African President Nelson Mandela, who served 27 years in prison for anti-apartheid activities and led his continent into a new era, has died at age 95.

South African President Jacob Zuma confirmed the news:
"He is now resting. He is now at peace," Zuma said. "Our nation has lost its greatest son. Our people have lost a father."

Nelson Mandela, who guided South Africa from the shackles of apartheid to multi-racial democracy and became an international icon of peace and reconciliation, died Thursday at age 95.
Imprisoned for nearly three decades for his fight against white minority rule, Mandela emerged determined to use his prestige and charisma to bring down apartheid while avoiding a civil war.
"The time for the healing of the wounds has come. The moment to bridge the chasms that divide us has come," Mandela said in his acceptance speech on becoming South Africa's first black president in 1994.

"We have, at last, achieved our political emancipation."
President Barack Obama hailed Mandela as a leader who left his country with a legacy of freedom and peace with the world.
"He achieved more than could be expected of any man," Obama said at the White House shortly after the announcement of Mandela's death.
"Today he's gone home, and we've lost one of the most influential, courageous and profoundly good human beings that any of us will share time with on this earth," Obama said.

Mandela hampir tiga dasawarsa di penjara dalam perjuangan untuk mengakhiri pemerintahan minoritas kulit putih dan diskriminasi terhadap warga kulit hitam di Afrika Selatan.
